Jeremy has had a passion for nutrition and health for most of his life. From the use of herbs for food and medicine while growing up, to his love for gardening and eating good food, to his fascination with the science of how food affects our bodies and minds, Jeremy has grown into a passionate advocate for food as medicine. He has witnessed firsthand the power of nutrition and lifestyle in promoting vibrant health in himself and his family, and his nutrition education has given Jeremy an informed perspective to provide evidence-based care. More importantly, Jeremy has walked the road many of his patients have walked with his own
personal health journey from chronic fatigue, gut dysfunction and adrenal exhaustion. Out of that blessing, Jeremy uniquely empathizes and understands what many of his clients are walking through.
Jeremy is a student of integrative/functional nutrition, targeted supplementation, herbs and food as medicine, and constantly seeks to build on this training to perfect his craft. This background enables him to more effectively assist clients with difficult health problems who may have fallen between the cracks. Jeremy is often able to bridge the gap between traditional and alternative approaches and coach clients through the conflicting sea of health information to find the most effective strategy for them. He is familiar with the latest diets, fads and supplements and can guide you through the daunting world of nutrition mis-information to the therapies that actually work. This whole-person focus on research-based nutrition, lifestyle change, spiritual healing and cutting-edge therapies encapsulates the integrative, functional approach that helped Jeremy recover his own health, and is the approach he brings to every person who seeks his guidance and coaching.
Jeremy is passionate about healthy families and loves to help children have a thriving childhood! He has gained valuable experience in pediatrics and family wellness both through his professional work and his experience as a father of five, and truly understand the struggles of balancing family, food, finances and all the crazy balls that parents juggle every day! He has used this expertise to serve a growing circle of families and children, and help people find realistic but effective ways to improve their family’s health. He has a heart for those with difficult nutrition issues as well and strives to fill the gap in nutrition therapy for children with special needs so they can live their lives to the fullest.
While Jeremy loves coaching clients and educating the world on nutrition, he loves living life with his growing family the most! He is the proud father of five beautiful girls and one spunky boy (Maggie, Lauren, Hannah, Katelyn, Joshua & Esther), and husband to their incredible mother Karen. When he’s not being a human jungle gym, king of the castle, or referee, Jeremy enjoys gardening, reading, disc golf, ultimate Frisbee, and pretty much anything outdoors. He tries to keep callouses on his hands and skills in his fingers by building things with wood anytime he can, but sadly not as much as he’d like! Jeremy is an avid reader, and used to read fiction, but now he devours dry research papers for the benefit of his clients, and firmly believes they could be written far better!
Most of all, Jeremy loves his Lord Jesus, the Living God, and through His salvation has found what it means to be loved, and how to really LIVE to love those around him. He is passionate about health because he believes it is God’s heart that we have life and have it abundantly!

Jeremy received his undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition & Dietetics from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, in 2006 and his Masters degree in Human Nutrition from Winthrop in 2014.
